Thinking with Chris Christian Vol. 51

Introduction

A lot of people are looking for God without finding Him because God cannot be found where His secrets are not. If you don’t have God's secrets, He will not stay with you. This is why all great spirits that came to the earth came in the form of secrets. They don’t only come in the form of secrets but can only be found where these secrets are found. In order words, men have to pay for secrets. There are certain things God does not hide from people after they have paid so much. After you have paid so much to have access to a certain revelation, you should protect it. Revelation is life. This is why you should not share with people what you are not meant to share with them. Whatever you share is made powerless. There are certain secrets of your life you must not share even in marriage if you want to keep your life.

If one does not have secret, he will remain vulnerable. It will take a broken person to be poor. What the poor will never lack is vulnerability. It is a life in them; they naturally lack understanding and they are that way so that they can remain vulnerable. As a preacher, how can you bless such a person? Miracles require understanding. This is why when God wants to change people, He changes their environment because great men cannot be found in broken places. God raises great men from protected places. Things that are highly valuable and expensive cannot be found everywhere. It is difficult to see a poor person who has understanding. To lack understanding is to be low in value. Someone who lacks understanding does not have God. God is not a religion; He is a Spirit. He is Light.

In Isaiah 45:14-15, the Bible says, “14 Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God. 15 Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.”

God hides Himself because He does not want to be found. God does not want to meet those who should not meet Him. God protects Himself in His hiding place. When God kept Lucifer in the mountain of fire, He kept him close because of trust but that trust failed and Lucifer became an enemy of God. Consequently, Lucifer started using what he took from God against Him. What protect God are the things He didn’t reveal to Lucifer. What if God had revealed everything to Lucifer? This is why you should not share your life with just anyone. Some people are made vulnerable because they trust every stranger they meet. When Jesus came, He came as a mystery.

In Deuteronomy 32:20-21, the Bible says, “20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. 21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.”

There is no God in the scripture above but their vile emotion. Sometimes, people replace God with their vile emotions. If all these emotions are what represent today’s Church, then it is why some believers are being victimized. When the Bible calls a nation foolish, it is talking about a people who have no God because they are too ordinary to keep a secret. If God is not found in a secret, He cannot be found anywhere. A lot of people claim that God goes to ignorant people just because they are holy. There is no relationship between God and darkness. Heaven is not meant for those who are holy; it is meant for those who are enlightened like it; this is why it is a veiled city.
