These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Shekinah Media House website at shekinahmediahouse.com and any related storefront or reading experience we operate (together, the “Service”), including purchase and download of digital e-books.
The Service is operated by Shekinah Media House (“we”, “us”, “the Publisher”), associated with the ministry of Rev. Chris Christian / The Locust Army International. By browsing the shop, creating an account at checkout, placing an order, downloading a file, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who this is for
The Service sells Christian teaching materials, primarily downloadable e-books and related digital products. You must be able to form a binding agreement under the laws of Nigeria. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian’s permission.
2. The Service
2.1 What we sell
We sell digital products (e-books and similar files) for personal use. Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless the product page or checkout says otherwise. Product descriptions, covers, and sample previews are for information; the paid file you receive is the product.
2.2 Accounts
Public self-registration may be closed. An account is typically created when you check out and choose to create an account, or when we create one so you can access downloads. You must provide a working email address. Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
2.3 Orders and payment
Checkout is handled through WooCommerce. Card and other payment methods are processed by Paystack. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or PIN. A successful payment confirmation is what allows us to mark the order complete and unlock downloads.
2.4 Delivery of digital products
After payment succeeds, download links appear in your order confirmation email (when mail is working) and under My account → Downloads on the website. Some titles may also be available in our mobile reading app when that channel is offered. Delivery is electronic; there is no physical shipping.
2.5 Licence to use
When you buy a digital product you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and read it for your own private use. You do not buy ownership of the copyright. You must not resell or publicly redistribute the files, upload them to pirate channels, remove copyright notices, or share your account so others can take paid copies for free.
3. Refunds and returns
Our products are digital downloads. Once a file has been made available to you after a successful payment, we do not ordinarily offer a refund or “return,” because the content cannot be meaningfully returned.
We will investigate and, where appropriate, refund or re-deliver if Paystack charged you more than once for the same order in error; payment succeeded but the download never unlocked after a reasonable check; or you received a corrupt file and we cannot provide a working replacement.
Contact shekinahmediahouse@gmail.com with your order number and checkout email. Chargebacks started in bad faith may lead to account closure.
4. Acceptable use
You must not attack the Service, scrape it in bulk, bypass paywalls or download limits, upload malware, harass staff or other customers, or use the Service to misrepresent our teaching or brand.
5. Intellectual property
Book content, covers, the Shekinah Media House name and marks, and the website design belong to the Publisher or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights beyond the personal reading licence above.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the shop and downloads available. We do not promise uninterrupted uptime. Networks, devices, email delivery, Paystack, hosting, and app stores can fail.
7. Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you also acknowledge that policy.
8. Disclaimers
Teaching materials are offered for spiritual edification and personal study. They are not professional counselling, medical, legal, or financial advice. To the fullest extent Nigerian law allows, we are not liable for loss of download files on your device, inability to read because of your hardware or software, or third-party failures (including Paystack and email providers). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms. For a material change we will try to notice you on this website or by email when we have one on file.

11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Courts in Nigeria have jurisdiction, without limiting any consumer right you cannot waive.
