Introduction

A lot of people want success but ignore their minds that God must depend on to help them. The will of God can only be accomplished on earth through successful men. God wants every believer to be successful and prosperous because that is the only way we can represent Him. In Psalm 35vs.27, the Bible says that God has pleasure in the success of His servant. God told Joshua to meditate on the book of the law so that he could prosper. Joshua couldn’t have succeeded in his leadership role without meditating on the book of the law. God cannot be well represented by people who are not prosperous. Every assignment makes demand on a certain level of achievement.

In Joshua 1:8, the Bible says, “8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

Sometimes, we become too familiar with this scripture and hope that there is another option. Well, there is no other option. Everything outside the light of God’s word is a game with no direction. Meditation must change the state of the soul before there can be prosperity. The state of the soul must be altered through meditation for God to make anyone rich. It is possible for a man to live on earth without altering the state of his soul. If the state of the soul is not altered positively, there will be no prosperity. You shouldn’t tell God to prosper you while still leaving your soul in the same crude state. The greatest opportunity that life provides us is to improve the quality of our souls.

In 3John 1:2, the Bible says, “2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

You will know the state of your soul has changed when the way you look at things change. It is not possible for your financial level not to be altered after the state of your soul has been altered. Altering the state of your soul is different from religious beliefs and confession. It is about paying quality attention to the soul. When the state of your soul is altered, your destiny will also be altered. You can alter the thought in your environment through mediation. When your soul becomes enlarged, you become important. The path that leads to greatness forces the soul to become enlarged during meditation. There must be soul prosperity if there must be physical prosperity. There must be soul enlightenment and largeness for great prosperity to come. If there is light in the soul, it will show. Talking to people is more important than praying for them because God will not give important things to those who don’t look like Him. The difference between the servant of a man and his son are basically two things: (1) The seed (i.e. blood, look-like). It is this look-like that makes an heir different from a servant. The family character and trait are often in the child. The promises of God are in the lineage. Jesus had to come from the image of David through blood. Jesus came from the blood of David to continue the covenant of kingship. The Lion of Judah will also come from David’s lineage. Don’t trifle with lineage because it is strong. The second uniqueness of heirs is raising. The lineage ensures raising pattern of training. If God lives in you, He will teach you a pattern to tame your child. If the spirit in you is of God, you will always insist on proper upbringing. Abraham asked Isaac and Jacob to come into the same tent with him as they won’t have since they were looking for a city. All this was because Abraham was sure of what he was seeing. If a man keeps allowing his children to behave carelessly, then he is blind. Those who have idea of their future can’t tolerate some things. There must be preparation before success.
