Introduction

People pray so much and get little results. Sometimes they don’t get result at all but God promised answering us if we call upon Him. To alleviate the frustrations people are subjected to answers to their prayers is delayed is why I wrote this book. The experiences I had in more than twenty years of full time ministry is what enabled me to write this book on prayer. I believe that as you peruse through its pages meditatively, you will glean insights that will help you to pray more effectively.

God depend on the thought of men to bring answers to their prayers. The way He reacts to our prayers is controlled by our relationship with Him. Those who desire to get answers to their prayers must learn to ask God to give them what they already have. What God makes out of us is more important to Him than what we ask of Him. He prefers talking to us to hearing from us. Who we are determines how God reacts to our prayers. Those who have power to influence God get quick answers to their prayers. It is wrong to keep violating the principles of God and still wants Him to meet our needs.

God is not expected to do for us what we are meant to do for ourselves. Whatever He must depend on to help us must come from us. This is why whatever we ask of God will always be smaller than what He has made us. When men come to the realm of solution through mental transformation, they do more thinking than praying.

Prayers provide men with great privileges on earth; it brings men to the realm of favour. Through prayers, righteous men share power with God. God doesn’t separate what men ask of Him from who they are. It is the place we have in God that must control what we ask of Him. A prayerful believer is a winning believer. God works in us both to will and to do His good pleasures. Allowing the will of God to prevail in prayer is why visionary men get quick answers to their prayers. Prayer doesn’t change God; it is an act of taking what God had already given us. Whatever men desire God to give them is what they are meant to take from themselves. Prayer is more fruit-producing when men hear God as they hear themselves. The instructions God gives to us during prayer is more important to Him than whatever we ask of Him.

How often do you pray? Do you allow God’s will for your life to guide what you ask of Him? The pressure men put on God during prayer doesn’t make Him do what He doesn’t intend doing. More also, transgression will never allow God to hearken to the demand of transgressors.
