OVERCOMING THE CAPTIVITY OF DEATH
INTRODUCTION
The loss of the body does not necessarily mean death in the ultimate sense. Many people who are dead in the flesh are still active in their influence. There is no death in righteousness. You don’t live right merely to avoid hellfire. Even when one passes on, the way they lived can preserve them even in the grave. When people live right, they don’t die in the end because righteousness establishes eternal life. There cannot be life without righteousness. The law of life must be violated before somebody can die. Because God has respect for man, when a person is violating the law of life, warning signals would be present; signs that alert the person that they can still choose not to die. Whether physical or spiritual, some meals give life, and some meals bring death. Destiny can be transferred through meal. There is life and death in sharing and sharing (meal) continues beyond physical existence. When Adam shared in the meal of death, he was disconnected from the meal of Life and he died.
However, death reigns because of the way men live. If evil does not reign in people, death will not reign on the earth. It is not God’s will for man to die, yet people are dying because satan follows the evil that is within them to kill them. Those who end up in the grave share a destiny that was never meant for men. Death reigns over the life of the sinful. Death is introduced by spiritual and mental blindness. Only the eyes of immortality can see death. This eye not only perceives death but also interprets the journey that leads men to the grave. Whoever lacks this eye remains blind to death. The greatest poverty on earth is spiritual blindness. When you put pressure on God and yourself, God will be compelled to give you revelation. The mountain of Jesus reveals eternal life, while the mountain of the Ancient Lion King unveils immortality.
