Men can’t avoid the act of looking. Everyone on earth looks and everyone sees something. The difference between the great and ordinary people is that great people do intentional looking. Vision tells them where to look and what to see. Ordinary people on the other hand look at everything that shows up because they don’t understand what is called ‘intentional looking’. The act of lacking the ability to look intentionally is an act of poverty because one cannot be great if he doesn’t master the act of looking.
