THE LIVING WORD

INTRODUCTION

God created Himself as He looked steadfastly at the mirror of His eternal word. Although God existed from the beginning, He didn’t create Himself until He became one with His word. The oneness of God with His word empowered Him to give birth to incarnate Spirits. It is also the oneness of God with His word that empowered Him to give birth to Himself. God became part of everything He created as He incarnated His word. God multiplies His life as He incarnates His word. It was possible for God to create Himself because His word preserved Him. When God wanted to give birth to Christ His Son, He relocated to the right hand of the Majesty on High, but when He wanted to give birth to Himself, He positioned properly at the very throne of the Majesty on High. Taking the nature of His word made God timeless. God makes Himself part of men by talking to them. God preserves His light in men by speaking to them. To achieve oneness with God, Jesus first became one with God’s word. The word of God is God. The word of God is wonderful as a medium through which God expresses His thought. The best thing that happened on earth is that the word of God became a human being and stayed with us.

However, God at different times and in sundry ways has spoken through diverse people. It is what God wants to say and those He wants to speak to that determines who He uses to speak. When God incarnated the Spirit of the Law, He used Moses to express the thought of the incarnate Spirit. The Spirit of the Law positioned Moses as a god in the spiritual firmament of Israel. It was by the ideology of the Law that the people of Israel were both delivered and preserved. The God of Israel functioned in the midst of Israel through the incarnate Spirit of the Law and Moses as the house of the Spirit. So the people of the Law are the people of God and Moses. All who desire to go to the God of Israel must pass through Moses. It is amazing that the Son of God became a living Word. Building the spiritual kingdom of God was possible for Jesus because He was the living Word. The spiritual kingdom of God which was built at the right hand of the Majesty on High is preserved by the living Word. God lives in His word and can’t be separated from it. God lives only what He says and what He says only what He lives. Becoming one with the word of God made Jesus timeless. There is no limit to what the word of God can achieve in the lives of those who read, study, meditate and act on it. We can’t separate our lives from what we think and speak. Jesus said in the book of John gospel chapter 6vs.63 “The words I speak to you are my life and Spirit”. The words we speak also represent our lives and spirits. Our words represent us before God and men. We are all meant to live from what we say. Words are living. The words of men have both their lives and destinies.

The way God relates with us is controlled by how we relate with His word. God believes that He is dishonoured when men trifle with His words. It is not possible for those who actually met God to trifle with His word. The word of God is everything to God. It is the light of God’s word that connects us to God. The place of men in God is given to them by the light of God’s word. God heals through the light of His word. The light of God’s word is the economy of His destiny. Those who must not see death must be preserved by the word of God. If the dead in Christ must rise, it is the light of God’s word that must quicken them. The cloud of revelation where the living will meet with the dead will be established through the light of God’s word. To despise all that can be achieved through the light of God’s word is to share destiny with the captain of darkness.

Men preserve their lives as they feed on the word of God. Jesus became one with Christ because He fed discreetly on the Bread of life. You were not born to pay attention to everything. Men deny their unique future when they pay attention to things that don’t actually concern them. All who were destroyed didn’t take advantage of God’s word. Any life that must not be destroyed by the enemy must hide itself behind the sword of the Spirit. The sword of the Spirit which is the word of God is more of a shield of protection than a weapon of war. Hiding yourself is far more important than fighting enemies. Strong enemies are conquered as we subject ourselves to the transformational power of God’s word.
