INTRODUCTION

Man was created in the image and likeness of God to exercise cultural dominion on earth. There is no general dominion. Every man is created to exercise the dominion of his personal life. Understanding the kind of life we have is meant to interpret the scope of our individual dominion. God determines the scope of men’s dominion through their lives. When He created the first man, He gave him dominion over Eden. The dominion of the first Adam was different from that of the second Adam. God gives men dominion over the works of their hands. So many people can’t enjoy true dominion because they don’t know that it is the kind of life men have that determines their scope of dominion. Jesus Christ exercises dominion in the Kingdom of heaven because God used Him to establish it. God is keenly interested in what He can accomplish through us. He gives men the dominion of their usefulness.
Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords in the Kingdom God built through Him. It is wrong for men to desire to exercise dominion over things they are not part of building.
However we are designed to exercise the dominion of the visionary personality in us. The visionary personality in every man is the second person of his thought. The dominion He man Jesus exercised was the dominion of Christ the second person of His thought. To exercise dominion over the kingdom of heaven God depended on the visionary Spirit of Christ to harvest the divinity of the man Jesus. Building the Kingdom of heaven was possible for the man Jesus because His humanity was clothed with the divinity of Christ. We are all meant to exercise dominion through what the Spirit of vision makes out of us. God establishes dominion on earth through what men make out of themselves. God needs us the same way we need Him. Those who desire to reign on earth must know that men make the crown they must wear. Dominion is more of who we are than what we do.
Whatever that must rule must have the ability to multiply. God gives men the dominion of their increase. We are expected to develop the ability to take whatever God is ready to give us. Before God gives men ability to multiply things He hides them. It is only things that are hidden that can multiply. The fruit-bearing life of men is what sustains the value of the earth. A man becomes a hiding place for others through fruit-bearing.
