INTRODUCTION

Personal experience and number of years of ministry have taught me to attend important meetings with my jotter. Although I have given myself so much to spiritual and mental development by the grace of God, I don’t still trust my memory. It is wonderful to know that revelations and information need to be preserved in a parchment. God preserves the lives and destinies of men through preserved revelations and information. It is preserved revelations and information that connect us both to the past and future. We are still relating with men like Abraham, Moses, Jesus Christ and Apostle Paul because their lives and stories were documented. Chris Christian’s parchment is forty-five chapters. All the rich revelations and information in this book would have been lost if they were not written and preserved. I love carrying my jotter around. My jotter is a great blessing to me. I want to encourage this prophetic generation that God must depend on to finish mysteries to always keep their parchments around them because there are so much God wants to reveal in this season to waiting saints. The human mind is not made in a way that it can remember everything, so we must have discipline to document revelations and preserve information.

Moreover, reading the revelations and information in your parchment is as important as writing them. It takes more discipline to read all that were written in the parchment than in writing them. However, reading what is written is as important as writing them. Documenting revelations and preserving information has taught me to know that God reveals some things to a man more than once. It also taught me to know that every human mind is unique. There are useful revelations I have developed in my mind for more than twenty years. The reason why I have made so many books is because I have discipline to revisit my parchments. The human mind is a great gift but the parchment is meant to support it. Documenting revelations and information helps us to develop our human minds in a useful way. Writing revelations and information helps us to discover ourselves.

The kind of revelations we receive from the Holy Spirit points to who we are. Whatever we write in our jotters is written in our minds. Writing in our jotter helps our human minds and provokes our destinies. When a preacher is preaching or you are reading a book, it is not everything that is said that should catch your attention. It is possible for you to know who you are from your parchments. The reason why my picture is in front of the book is because the book is my life. Reading it will empower you to develop yourself through writing down revelations and information you desire to preserve.
