UNDERSTANDING THE IMPORTANCE OF DOCTRINE

INTRODUCTION

Doctrine is a body of beliefs that represent the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. The doctrine of Jesus Christ is the rock upon which the church was built. Through preaching and teaching, Jesus made His purpose and mission known to the world. Those who know the value of doctrine must allow their preaching and teaching to be directed by it. The strength of our faith is determined by how we relate with the doctrine of Jesus Christ. The doctrine of Jesus is very powerful and problem-solving because it is based on revelation. The uniqueness of revelation makes doctrine peculiar. The doctrine of Jesus Christ speaks of His life and beliefs. Revelation gains access into the hearts of men when it turns into a body of beliefs. While God related with Jesus through revelation, Jesus related with people through doctrine. Those who can’t connect to God through revelation will have to wait for Him at the gate of doctrine.

However, the life of the church runs on the doctrine of Jesus. If the spirit of darkness must not hurt us, then we must strive to make Jesus our message. Making effort to keep the doctrine of Jesus Christ is not as important as knowing Him personally. The revelation of God represents both the life and light of God. The practical lives of all believers are guided by doctrine. The crucifixion of Jesus by the Jews was a regrettable act of spiritual blindness. There is no sin more grievous than crucifying the Son of God on a wooden cross. It was a heinous offence sponsored by the wickedness of darkness. God will not allow men to access any revelation they didn’t pay for. The doctrine of Jesus emanated from the revelations that He paid so dearly to access. What God reveals to us shows how important and close we are to Him. If there is enough light in you, it will definitely affect your belief and the way you live.

Furthermore, men win their major battles against satan through their belief system. The doctrine of Jesus Christ had footing in God and as such couldn’t be destroyed by mere men. This millennium can only be introduced by the new doctrine of the Lion of Judah. God who incarnated His Son will in these last days incarnate Himself as the Lion of Judah to declare the last age. Nothing is new on earth. The same way John the Baptist manifested to fulfill the prophecy made concerning the coming back of Elijah is how the Lion of Judah will manifest to fulfill the prophecy made concerning the return of the Lamb of God. All who are designed to impact this season must have access to the doctrine of the Lion of Judah. Those who are deeply baptized by the ideology of Grace can’t be part of the Lion’s age. There is great strength in doctrine. The age of utter brightness will not tolerate ignorance and spiritual blindness.

More so, the crucifixion of Jesus by the Jews couldn’t quench His light; instead, the light continued to shine brighter and brighter. Light can’t be killed; it has the power to preserve everything God created. There is so much God is hiding from us. This is why we must made deliberate effort to seek Him. God willingly encapsulated the life of Jesus Christ in unveiled truths so that He could be preserved. Whatever God decides to preserve or not must be a mystery to darkness. God can’t reveal Himself to men except He incarnates a particular spirit. The particular spirit God incarnates determines how He reveals Himself. We must not give people access to any hidden truth that they don’t have the value to connect to.

Also, revelation is a mystery; spiritual light is also a very powerful mystery. Doctrines are designed to be learned, adopted and practiced. Doctrine is far more important than life. Doctrine tells us what to believe and what to live for. It is not possible for those who are patterned by doctrine to be separated from the resurrection power of God. Men will always share power and life with the spirit that enlightens them. What we know creates a way for what we will become. We must not make ourselves available to all manner of beliefs. True faith must be anchored on pure doctrine. Learning, transforming and living by the doctrine of Jesus makes us believers. There is no other foundation that can be laid except the one that is already laid in Christ Jesus. We must be careful of the way we build our lives and destinies because the foundation of every building must be tested.

Lastly, doctrine protects men. When men know where to look at, they will have enough strength not to look at things that they are not designed to see. We are as strong as the belief system that guides our lives. The manifestation of the Lion of Judah will be alongside the revelation of the antichrist. This is the time of great deception and also the time of the falling away of many. In this season, God is about to incarnate Himself and there will be a new and perfect doctrine. This is the hour of zero tolerance for spiritual illiteracy and ignorance. The work of God with man will not finish except God incarnates Himself.
