THINKING WITH CHRIS CHRISTIAN VOL. 42
INTRODUCTION
There is a difference between representation and replacement. When Moses came to the earth, he represented God as a capital (P)rophet in the midst of the Jews. Moses was a Lawgiver who represented Yahweh in the midst of the Jews. He was like the God the Jews worshipped in Moses.
If you are not saved, then you cannot save. If you want to change your family, don’t look for money first, rather, produce a character and an intelligence that can cast a shadow on darkness. There are characters that season cannot make irrelevant. There are life-giving directions people will have in life and they will not be made irrelevant by time and season. Jesus was a man, but He rose from the grave because He paid attention to values that death cannot destroy. If you pay attention to values that death cannot destroy, then death will not pay attention to you. It is the value you pay attention to that determines what pays attention to you. It is what you pay attention to that determines the kind of attention God will give you.
The Bible says that Moses decided not to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, rather he chose to suffer affliction with the people of God. This is a man who saw joy and saw pain, but he left joy and went to pain. This is a man who should have been a Pharaoh, but he left that to join with slaves because he had the ability to see the invisible. If you don’t have joy inside and try to make up for it with external things, even if someone tries to make you happy, after you get the things you think you need, sadness which is inward will still take over. If happiness is not in sight, external or material things cannot make up for it.
