INTRODUCTION 

Peter and John’s boldness was the boldness of knowledge and revelation. When the people saw the boldness of Peter and John, they knew it was the boldness of knowledge. Knowledge increases boldness. You need boldness to manifest faith. One of the greatest gifts that God gives to men is boldness. You are able to look at the enemy and speak like a lion to him.

Concerning the disciples of Jesus, after they have mentioned some names, which the people believed He was, He asked them their opinion about Him. Then Peter said, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God”. Jesus said to Peter, “on the boldness of this your knowledge will my church be built”. What Peter said in verse 17 confirmed his boldness. There are certain things that you will know about satan you will no longer fear him and there are certain things you will know about God and you will no longer be poor. Boldness is a function of insight and revelation. Jesus was bold to be able to walk on water, raise the dead, heal the sick and deliver the oppressed because he had access to mysteries. God often reveals secrets to us because He wants us to be bold. All knowledgeable men in this world are very bold.
