LIVING FOR REASON

INTRODUCTION

Freedom is meant only for the yoked. When Jesus Christ redeemed us, He encouraged us to submit to His yoke because He knew that man can’t really be free without yoke. Anybody who rejects the yoke of God will eventually be yoked by the devil. Yoke which is a symbol of our submission to God has the power of favour. It is only yoked men that can accomplish divine purposes. What we are born to accomplish is always older than us; it interprets the relevance of our lives. Purpose is higher than life because it is the only reason for life. It is an aspect of God that we were created from; it is as ageless as God.

When men live outside the purpose of their lives, abuse will set in. You need to know that you were created in a way that nobody can replace your relevance. Nobody can fulfill the purpose of your life. You must discover reason for living and fulfill it because that is what sustains your life on earth. Those who have discovered what they are designed to accomplish and are busy with it don’t need to fear. Because reason for living ties us inseparably to God, it also attracts honour and blessings to us. God believes that we are tremendously blessed when we discover why we were made. When Apostle Paul discovered reason for living, he decided to arrest what arrested him. We are all under arrest and we are all expected to arrest whatever arrested us. It will not be possible to enjoy enduring success and prosperity outside reason for living. God will not identify with us outside reason for living. The way He relates with us is controlled by the assignment that He reserved for us. It is not possible to separate yourself from the only purpose that you were born to accomplish.

There is no one like you and there will never be anyone like you. Therefore, what you were created to accomplish can’t be accomplished by someone else. You need to invest your only life properly. What we are born to accomplish is a destiny that we must discover and fulfill; it is not something that we can choose. Reason for living preserves our lives; it makes it very valuable. It is what we are born to accomplish that introduces us to God and ourselves. There can’t be fellowship with God outside purpose. We are as important as what we do for God and ourselves.

This book was written because we are in a time when men steal their lives. Men steal their lives when they live the way they choose, not God’s way. The persuasion to steal our lives is the dark antics of satan that is designed to plunge men into perpetual misery and unending frustration. Because of the desperate nature of the heart, it multiplies devices but the counsel of God for our lives will definitely stand. The reason why you must seek God’s purpose for your life and accomplish it is because it is all that life holds for you.
