HOLDING THE HORNS OF THE ALTAR

An altar is a place of refuge where God hides Himself to protect, bless and preserve people. So, holding the horns of a living altar means hiding in the secret place of God. The power that upholds the life and destiny of an altar is in the sacrifice that established it. It is very important to revere our altars and disastrous to confront source of life and destiny. Altars neither protects nor provide for strangers. The limitless blessings, provisions and security are reserved for those who serve the altar. Altars keep records of what they receive from men. Hence God depends on sacrifice made at the altar to protect us. We must give to God before we take from Him. It is what we invest on an altar that makes its horn useful to us.

The horn of the altar of the cross is the safest place in eternity. Satan and death were defeated through the sacrifice of the cross. Our hands must hold tenaciously the horns of Calvary through sacrifice to enjoy its endless privileges. Lands and their kings are as relevant as the altars that introduced them to God. Spiritual invasion of lands is averted from the sacrificial value of their altars.

Every act of faith attracts a reaction from God. Holding the horns of the altar is having faith in God. Doubt diminishes the value of men in the sight of God and plunges them into hopelessness. Horns are released when men preach with power. Preservation of men come from studying and meditating on God’s word.

The sacred and powerful horns of the Lion of Judah is the hiding place of all believers. It is the safest place in eternity. The seven horns of Christ which represent the oil in the heavenly pot of Jesus declared Him King of kings and Lord of lords. God preserves men when they willingly hide in their sacrifices. The church is hidden continuously in the seven horns of Christ which Jesus produced by losing His biological life. It is our strongholds that immortalizes us and there is no immortality without a hiding place. Men manifest the destiny of wherever they are hidden. Satan envies hidden men and will not spare any life that is not hidden. Since God doesn’t hide men, He inspires them to hide themselves. Rising to preeminence is never difficult for those who are hidden in the munition of God. Hiding is an important aspect of success. God prospers only those who are hidden in Him.

Moreover, holding the horns of the altar because of strong enemies is the beginning of wisdom. The crown of our glory is behind an enemy we must win. Where there are no enemies, there will be no progress. We are born with enemies who moderate us by keeping us on our toes to harvest ourselves. Sometimes enemies are more useful than friends as they represent tools of elevation. Friends join us to celebrate what enemies forced us to achieve. It is what preparation makes out of us that grants us victory over our enemies. Vulnerability is subtle, it gives satan limitless access to men’s lives. We are untouchable in the heavenly places where we are lifted above principalities and powers.

Altars emit power from their horns as expression of sacrifice made on them. Horns of altars avert evil and shield people from enemies. Eyes must set visionary boundaries on men’s lives before the horns of power and dominion can be produced. The price men pay to produce horns, sustains the horns in them. Horns of power ensure the immortality of visionaries. Eyes are known in their horns. God measures sizes of men from their eyes which connect to their future and its manifestation. Great and enduring character is developed from sight. God will never allow us access to very deep revelational secrets without a price. The nature of horns the eyes produce represents its size and relevance. Only those who are made perfect by the horns of the altar can stand before God.

Lastly, there is no lack or shame for those whose hands are continuously upon the horns of God’s altar. The power of sacrifice made on the altar judges lack, shame and misery. Fierce battles are won through sacrifice. The spirits in us determine the degree of our sacrifices. Being stingy is denying God because His legacy on earth is sustained by sacrificial people. The horns of the altar represent the hands of God. Embracing Jesus is holding the seven horns of Christ. Each time a sacrifice is made on earth, heaven is rent. Whatever is established through sacrifice can’t be connected to without another sacrifice. Horns of altars bleed and they can only sustain the wounded hands of bleeding men. Holding hands with God makes men divine, invincible and practically unapproachable. Horns of altars are places of offence. A righteous hand on the horns of the altar produces cover, security and provision, but the hands of the wicked on the horns of the altar hastens judgment. Jesus Christ is waiting for you at the place of sacrifice to improve your destiny and you can’t ignore Him.
