HEAVEN AND EARTH LIE IN PARENTHETICAL PARALLELISM

INTRODUCTION

God created heaven and earth to lie in parenthesis. Heaven and earth need each other because they came from the same source. While God is sovereign in heaven, man is sovereign on earth. Whatever happens in heaven affects the earth and whatever happens on earth affects the heaven. Although the earth is not as valuable as heaven, the activities of men on earth determines the destiny of heaven. While God lives in heaven as a Spirit, He lives on earth as a man. The light of God is everything to Him. God’s life is in His light. The value of every life is revealed through its light. There is no direct relationship between God and the earth. Heaven processes the activities of men and presents to God the part that He can relate with. God will only hear the earth with the ears of heaven. Like a go-between, God lays hands on both the very high and the very low to avoid organizational disorder and for the enforcement of a healthy harmony. As God relates with His deposits in men, He recognizes the positives and achievements that heaven chronicled. This is why the spiritual light of God harvests positive values and brings it into God’s eternal presence.

However, God created heaven and earth through His word and by His word He controls them. The degree of attention we pay to God’s word determines how close we are to Him and it measures our dominion. The word of God has the power to transform men into gods, so we must depend totally on it to achieve limitless dominion. God is man on earth. When God wants to be part of the earth, He incarnates a man. The celestial nature of God can’t command the earth. God only commands the earth through men. What God receives from men determines what He gives back to them.

Furthermore, the earth destiny of God belongs to man because man is the dwelling place of God on earth. The greatest desire of the Lion of Judah is to be part of the earth because His earth destiny is man’s destiny. The way we need God to be part of heaven is how God needs us to be part of the earth. And as God is the greatest value in heaven, man is the greatest value on earth. The most powerful spirit is not as important as the weakest man when it comes to earth issues. God’s word connects heaven to the earth. The glory, riches, honor and blessings of God are all encapsulated in the light of His word. God depends on the power of His word to bring everything close to Himself. The usefulness and preservation of men are controlled by his relationship with the word of God. All realms are sourced in God, interwoven with themselves, depending on each other. We must be consistent with being impactful because of the need of our contribution to man, seasons, events, time and process. Although heaven is superior to the earth in nature and purpose, it still needs the earth.

Lastly, the way the stellar firmament lies in parenthesis with the earth is how the spiritual firmament lies in parenthesis with the material world. God looks for men when He wants to improve the destiny of heaven. God can only share His destiny with the transformed men in His realm. Men meet God in their realm of thought. While the thought of God reigns in heaven, the thoughts of men reign on earth. The Lion of Judah will share realm with Himself. The greatest blessing that God gives to men is making Himself available to them. God produces gods from men only when He brings them to His presence.
