The blessedness of John is in recognizing that Jesus was preferred before him made his ministry very successful. Every ministerial mandate ordained by God requires the efforts of people of different abilities. Those who ignore the people God must depend on to bless them will be ignored by God. We must not be hesitant about serving men whose mantles we need. This is crucial because the grace we need to fulfill our life’s assignment will only flow into us through service. Taking a man’s mantle is receiving everything he represents and worked for. God identifies men with their source. It is the source that determines both the nature and destiny of a man. God believes He has blessed us when He connects us to those who are preferred before us. We must not only recognize those who are better than us, we must also extend helping hands to as many as God must use us to bless.

There are numerous blessings that God can’t give us without men. The earth runs on exchange. We need to give so as to receive. What men lay down to receive blessings is what sustains the blessings in their hands. Future depends on what it has to relate with what the past provides.

However, whatever we keep our eyes on will definitely affect what we will become. Our fellowship with the word of God secures a notable place for us in God. It is risky to identify with people who willingly separate themselves from the incorruptible word of God. The degree of our usefulness determines our importance to God. Being useful to God is being useful to ourselves. God unveils mysteries to people who are important to Him. How important we are determines the support we get from God. This is why God harvested values of men to accomplish His divine purposes on earth. God can only achieve great purposes through great men. God gives men the power to keep their lives only when they lay it down. What we take from God will control what he will take from us. God achieves more with the dead than with the living because any life that must multiply in honour must be sown. it is our usefulness to men that determines our importance to God. All who must wear great crown of glory in heaven must have great accomplishment on earth.

Furthermore, purpose separates men and determines their values. God will always give great assignments to people who are important to Him. God will preserve important places through people who have preserved themselves. This is why God gives great assignments only to people why are endowed with grace to fulfill them. People don’t see us the way we want them to see us, but the way we are. Our contributions in the lives of people make us relevant to them.

Therefore, if we must be blessed by the greater, we must position for it by recognizing them. God must bless men from those who stand between Him and them. God does not force men to give what belongs to them to others. The will of men is the greatest power on earth.

Conclusively, the source of every man determines the accomplishment of the man. God considers the root of men each time He wants to give them life assignment. Source controls life battles we can win. This is why the word of God must produce divinity from men before God can share power with them. Jesus must increase and we must decrease. Each time our humanity mingles with the divinity of God, it decreases to sustain the divinity. Great assignments make demand on self-denial of men. How far God will glorify us will be controlled by what we are subjected to. We must enthrone Jesus first if we desire to be enthroned. Allowing God to be all in all in our ministry will lead us to endless success and prosperity.
