GOD AND SATAN STILL MEET

INTRODUCTION

The revelation that made Lucifer a god will always connect him to God. Those who separate Lucifer from God will never win him in battles. The covering upon Lucifer can’t be denied by God. Because of the covering of God upon Lucifer, he will always be a part of God. Lucifer was a cherub that was the custodian of God’s glory. He was so exposed to God’s secrets that the Bible testified that there was no secret that could be hidden from him. The divinity of satan will always give him access into God’s presence. God can’t deny satan all that revelation has given him access to. Lucifer became the god of this world through enlightenment. Nobody remains the same after the eyes of his understanding have been enlightened. Enlightenment provokes divinity from men. Satan was made rich on the mountain of God. The mountain of God was made in the secrets of God. It is wrong to neglect the power that could produce a god from a mere cherub. God doesn’t deny people the power of what they know. Enlightenment clothes mortals with immortality. Lucifer’s access to the mountain of God enlightened his eyes. Satan insisted on enlightening the eyes of Eve because he knew the measure of devastation it will cause in the destiny of man. A man whose eyes of understanding are negatively enlightened is more dangerous than an ignorant man.

Satan is a servant. When satan came into God’s presence with other sons of God, He granted him audience because he was preferred to the other sons of God that came with him into God’s presence. Twisting the revelations of God to suit his nefarious purposes enlisted satan for a new kind of job for God. This is because once a servant always a servant.

Lucifer was an archangel and a peculiar cherub. Because of the unique way Lucifer was made, he is irreplaceable. Although Lucifer was a cherub, he had a notable place among the sons of God when he became a god. Heaven is missing the presence and assignment of Lucifer. Heaven didn’t cast Lucifer out to deny him. Lucifer is one of our brothers. He established hellfire with family inheritance. Since Lucifer was ousted from heaven, no cherub has taken his place. His services to the throne of God has not been taken by any other angel. It is the way we are wired that will determine what God will accomplish through us. It was only Lucifer that was wired to serve God that peculiar way he did. It was the peculiarity of Lucifer and his usefulness that sustained him on the mountain of God.

It is a painful experience that a uniquely endowed cherub like Lucifer could cause a revolt in God’s presence. The fall of Lucifer devastated the work of God. Lucifer can’t be denied. The divine components and heavenly riches that established hellfire had origin in God. We need to be careful about the way we attack Lucifer. Each time we attack Lucifer, we meet God. The battle that took place in heaven is like an altercation that takes place in a man’s parlour among brothers. Even though we are deeply grieved with the notorious act of Lucifer, we must see him correctly. It is difficult to handle Lucifer because he lives by the hidden things. It is pathetic that the light of Lucifer shines brighter than that of so many professing believers.

The mountain of God where God established Lucifer was a spiritual realm. It was more of a revelation than a place. The infiniteness of that realm and its power of command that God shared with Lucifer is why it was possible for him to swindle one-third of the stars of heaven. The stars of God submitted to the command of Lucifer because God was the source of his revelation and power.

Separating Lucifer from God is being practically ignorant of who he actually is. Is prayer really sufficient to deal with an enlightened and powerful cherub like Lucifer who had the audacity to fight in heaven? A lot of believers are wounded by the spirit of darkness because of the uncanny way they look at Lucifer. Lucifer is not black and dark. He is not powerless and ordinary. Since Lucifer can’t be separated from the divinity of God, it is not possible for men to win him in battle.

The pain and powerlessness of not knowing who Lucifer is hurts the church. Believers find it difficult to separate light from darkness because they are ignorant.

Finally, it is very important that we receive grace to separate Lucifer from satan. Lucifer is the part of satan that God will never separate Himself from. Lucifer is the part of satan that will always have access into God’s presence. God and satan meet in Lucifer. Everything has destiny in its nature and God identifies with things according to their nature.
