BREAKING GENERATIONAL CURSES

Curses are contempt invoked on others from recognized covenant platforms. God can curse individual families or nations. Curses invoked on men by God can’t be reversed without Him and curses invoked on men by others can’t be reversed by spirits. A man of God has no right to reverse a curse placed on a child by his father without the approval of the man. This is why we must do everything possible to avoid grieving our source. It is the actions of men that sets platform for either blessings or curses. Curses are attracted and sustained by causes. It takes sinning and disobeying God’s instructions to attract divine curses. The sin of disobedience is more terrible than the sin of witchcraft; it removes the divine security support of God and diminishes values of men. Adam’s sin of disobedience was abrogated through the obedience of Jesus Christ.

However, extreme caution should be applied to avoid attracting human curses from our fathers because daddy is root and destiny. It is the life and blessings in our root that God gives us through our fathers. It becomes very imperative that we work very hard to improve the destinies of our roots. If the God in the roots of men is neglected, there will be no God for men in heaven. Since God is not responsible for the earthly blessings of men, not exposing the nakedness or weakness of our source will connect us to its blessings. Wisdom demands that we maintain a blissful fellowship with God and our father so as to enjoy both sides of favour. While the spiritual gates of blessings are with God, physical blessings are with men.

Again, curses are very prevalent in the midst of very thick darkness. A curse can be attracted by things men do ignorantly by omission or not having access to relevant revelations of a chosen season. We must study to know terms of relationship with God and men. It is very risky to feel at ease with empowered lives. Anointing responds to any arrow directed at the anointed whether it is intentional or otherwise. God will introduce light anytime He wants to end curses because the riches of His light and the awesomeness of His brightness will not tolerate misfortunes. There is a price for freedom. God revokes curses through sacrifice. Curses cannot be prevalent where fire of sacrifice burns continuously. When sacrifices are made, they compel God to judge the works of darkness. So men improve their values through sacrificial relevance.

Furthermore, very terrible is spiritual nakedness as it takes men out of God’s eternal presence and prepares them for death. We must vehemently resist doubtful words being planted in our hearts from ungodly fellowship to escape nakedness that attracts curses. Putting on Christ as our shield and spiritual cloths enhances our value. The worth of men is measured in their spiritual cloths, as anyone who is spiritually naked is already cursed. Any problem that exists with men from ignorance will be solved by improving their knowledge. So Jesus the God-man from worthiness and usefulness revoked the curse of God upon man. Our relevance before God is our immortality. The glory of every man is revealed through the crown of his accomplishment.

God will never be found where sin is prevalent. Satan lures men into heinous sins to attract curses and the wrath of God to them. Men are cursed when they become smaller than satan through sin. Prayers against curses will not yield result if the challenges of sin are not dealt with. We can’t persuade God to prosper us when we keep offending Him. It is very crucial we resist any act that fights God’s will on earth. It was Adam’s disobedience that made him a servant of satan, while the righteousness of Jesus made Him King of kings and Lord of lords. Preaching and teaching the word imparts people with the light of God and empowers them to live above sin.

Finally, curses or misfortune can’t be invoked against the innocent. We must be watchful about how we live because someone’s sin can attract curses to another. Eve’s sin brought curse to Adam and mankind. We must avoid associating with cursed things, lives, families or lands. Accursed things annihilated Achan’s family, Canaan became cursed because of his father and the earth was cursed for Adam’s sake. We must not allow the devil to use us to extend his government to the earth by cursing people. We must end curses and stamp out all the problems it produces. Curses waste values of men and sustain evil in generational cycles. If Jesus Christ became a curse so as to redeem us from curses, why should the redeemed curse others? The destiny of the earth is improved as curses are lifted from it.
