INTRODUCTION

The mystery of iniquity is the strength of iniquity. Iniquity depends on its hidden truth to ruin both the lives and destinies of men. I was urgently driven to write this book when I got the revelation of how devastating sin is. Sin is more dangerous than death. It is an age-long monster that had destroyed the generational legacy of so many men and dominions. Sin is not just an act because it is living. It is a breathing evil that had tied itself to the existence of man. The strength of Satan to achieve any purpose on earth is in the power of sin. Any life that is controlled by sin is lived for Satan. The essence and value of the man God created in His image and likeness is ridiculed through the mystery of iniquity. God is separated from any life where sin reigns. Satan prepares men for death through the corruption of sin. As you peruse the pages of this book, may the Almighty God enlighten the eyes of your understanding to articulate how heinous and devastating the act of transgression is. Sin ridicules the divine nature of man and makes him servant of Satan. Sin is the nature of Satan that he imparts upon men each time he wants to prepare them for death. I was into a long fasting and prayer when the Lord revealed to me the way the foundation of this fallen earth had been deeply corrupted by sin. It is in sin we were all conceived and it is also in sin that we all were born. Since the day God unveiled to me the mystery of iniquity, I appreciated the finished work of redemption in a new way. Before that, I used to wonder why it took the life of the Son of God to deal with the issue of sin and death. It is terrible for a man to trifle with any power that can devalue him. Sin doesn’t only devalue and kill men; it also destroys and makes mockery of their generational legacy. Every evil is sustained on earth through unrighteousness. I have preached and taught the Word of God for many years yet didn’t know how horrible iniquity can be. Whatever that is corrupt will destroy itself. Lovers of pleasure are friends of Satan. If this present church doesn’t pay adequate attention to the devastating power of sin, Satan will gradually destroy her credence and everything she represents. However, sin is more of what people don’t see and know than what they do. Is it possible for a man that is separated from all that he is meant to know to live right? If Adam had known the consequences of transgressing the commandment of God, I don’t think he would have touched the tree of knowledge of good and evil. There is no sinner in hell fire that doesn’t cry had I known. Satan prepares lawless men for death through hiding what they are meant to know from them. If Satan depended on corporate blindness to motivate the Jews to kill the Lord of glory, we must not trifle with the strength of blindness. Spiritual and mental blindness is more terrible than any kind of death. Every spiritually-blinded man is a tool of Satan. How can God be served with mental limitation? When sin takes charge of men’s lives, they lose power over their self-will. Sin makes sinners smaller than Satan. When sin enslaves men, they serve the purpose of darkness. A sinner is a convict trapped in the hand of Satan waiting to be executed. When men’s lives are separated from all that the grace of Jesus Christ achieved at Calvary, they become a toy in the hand of the devil. Listen, you need to be told that the influence of sin doesn’t end when we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Saviour. There is an adamic nature in every believer that connects him to the altar of iniquity. This adamic nature is why the desire to sin is sustained in believers even when they have acknowledged redemption. Beloved of the Lord, it is not possible for you to know how I feel even as I am introducing this book. The vision I saw that motivated me to write this book sustains godly fear in my heart. Maybe you are a preacher who have converted so many people, made altar calls in so many big meetings, heal so many sick people and accomplished multifarious signs and wonders, you need to be told that somebody can accomplish all that and still be separated from God because of sin. If we don’t go back and discover what hid the future from our fathers, ruin the foundation of the earth and kept many heroes in the pit of darkness, we might fall victims of the same. This book is a liberal messenger that wants to share with you what you must do after you have enthroned Jesus Christ in your life as both Saviour and Lord. Because its revelations are hidden in the letters of its words, I will like you to read it meditatively.
