YOU CAN MAKE IT TO THE TOP

I chose to write this motivational book because I know it will inspire and encourage somebody whose story and background is similar to mine. What the Holy Spirit wrought in my life through the experiences I shared in this book is a sacred gift I want to drop at your feet. I was born about fifty years ago in the remote area of Ibughubu Umuchu in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. My father Reuben Ezeama was a trained carpenter and subsistent farmer who eked out a living with so much struggle. Although he had sight to know the importance of western education, he was financially incapacitated to train all his children in school. I attended school in the midst of the struggle because of determination and self-will. There is nothing special about poverty and lack to talk about, but it is wonderful to have survived that neck-breaking condition that was meant to disconnect me from the only destiny I was born to fulfill. I have not arrived to where I am going but at least I have left somewhere.
You can make it to the top because you are meant for the top. The journey to the top is cumbersome and the path is tortuous but it is possible. It is what God gets from us that determines how far we can go. The way we need the top is how the top needs us. Whatever that took us to the top is what is meant to sustain us there.
While writing this book, I looked closely at the life of Jesus who overcame all odds and ascended to the highest seat of the King of kings and Lord of lords. Although He was born in the manger, He took advantage of the power of the indwelling Christ to overcome the discouragement of a helpless background. There is nobody who gets to the top without overcoming a certain odd. If Jesus rose from the debased manger to the highest throne, you can make it to the top despite your background. It is okay to recognize a depraved background but it is wrong to allow it to weigh you down. For those who refuse to continue because they fell, falling is part of rising. Falling is not as painful as not rising when you fall. I have not done everything right but my eyes are on the mark. If this book has encouraged you, my advice is for you to encourage others.
