THE LAW OF PROSPERITY
INTRODUCTION
God delights in the prosperity of His people but how prosperous we are is determined by how we relate with the governing laws of prosperity. We are meant to be part of anything we expect God to do for us. The reason why prosperity is very important in our lives is because God’s dominion can’t be established on earth without it. God wants you to be part of your life and destiny. He will strictly depend on what He makes out of us to prosper us. Because man is the guardian angel of his destiny, what we are becoming is more important to God than what we have.
Prosperity is accomplishing the purpose of God for our lives. It doesn’t necessarily mean being a money-bag. There are so many men like Moses, Elijah, John the Baptist and Jesus Christ who didn’t relate directly with money but accomplished mighty purposes. If these men had lived in our time, I don’t think we would have seen them as prosperous people, but they are the best of God. Prosperity is discovering what you were created for and accomplishing it. Making God first in our lives is why He will not allow us to abide in lack. When God becomes part of us, He shares His destiny with members of His family. This is why poverty must not be allowed in our lives.
However, we are expected to prosper and be in health as our souls prosper. The soul value of every man determines how he relates with God and his environment. It is wrong to allow our precious souls to be shrouded in darkness and still want to be prosperous. All that happened in us is expected to control what we expect God to give us. Since we need to depend on what we have to take whatever God wants to give us, it is only those whose souls had prospered that are meant to enjoy God’s prosperity. God gives men power to get wealth when they submit to the law of prosperity. Our covenant relationship with God is established on what He gets from us. Every form of prosperity must empower men to take care of their spiritual and mental values.
Although being financially rich is very important, this book didn’t see prosperity only from what we have but from who we are and what we are becoming. The way this book interpreted prosperity answered the question many have asked in the time past concerning prosperity. You can have so much without being prosperous. The rich young man who misused the opportunity of being a disciple of Jesus Christ because he was rich; do we see him as prosperous? Whatever a man received in exchange of his soul is equal to vanity. Prosperity is meant for the righteous. When we seek the kingdom of God first, He adds other things to us. God is looking for saints who will pay costly prices to fulfill His last purpose on earth. Being part of these saints is being prosperous. The book you are already reading looked at prosperity from a very godly and visionary perspective.
