THE MAJESTY OF LABOUR
INTRODUCTION
The time is 6:40am and I am sitting thrilled on my writing desk in Aguda, the central area of Surulere, Lagos. I am grossly encapsulated with enthusiasm because; I am introducing a work of revelation that broadens my life and destiny. God leaned on the oars of this work to tear down barriers that barricaded my ministerial exploit, and I know that as you fellowship with the profoundness of its depth, you will take a new leap unto boundless achievement.
Work is the only reason for living that is why the relationship between God and men can only be established around work. Labour is majestic because it bears the crown of men’s glory. God can only be found in men’s work place; therefore an idle man can’t be identified with God. God committed the earth into the hand of man after creation, so men’s places on earth are given to them through their work. Man is an agent of dominion but dominion can only be exercised through labour. It is only through the work of men’s hand that they are expected to subdue the earth. Since it is only through work that men exercise dominion, an indolent man who is not identified with any form of work is made smaller than himself. He is an irrelevant man who can’t be identified with the glory of God. God hides His glory in men’s work and it is only through the work of men that the glory of God can be unveiled on earth. When God gives men work, He establishes relationship with them through fellowship.
This book which exercises its virtues and revelations on why men must work is a gift you must not hide from those you expect to achieve relevance. Any kingdom where there is no work must not be associated with man. It is a kingdom where men are not relevant. Since work is one of the ways men discover themselves, those who don’t work can’t interpret their future. God fulfil promises that He made to men through their works. If we are designed to arrest our future through our work, it means that it’s only through our work that our destinies can be interpreted. The work of every man reveals his face and the face of his God; therefore idlers are godless and faceless.
Through the page of this book, God is persuading all men to re-identify their destinies through labour majesty. Since man is a being of majesty, we must go back to work so that we can extract the hidden riches of God’s glory that is ducked in labour majesty.
