UNDERSTANDING THE SUBTLETY OF MANIPULATION

INTRODUCTION

¹Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, Yea hath God said; ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? ²And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:⁶And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. ⁷And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. (Genesis 3vs.1-2, 6-7)

Manipulation is to control or influence somebody or something in a dishonest way in order to get what one wants without them realizing it. A manipulator is a skilful person who negatively influences somebody or situations in order to get what he wants. The ulterior motive of every manipulator is to be in-charge dishonestly. Manipulation functions through a serpentine spirit; very powerful and subtly coordinated. A lot of manipulators use charm to have their ways into peoples’ lives or situations. Believers must not neglect how much satanic agents can achievethrough manipulation because it is through the subtlety of manipulation that the first man lost his place. The strength of satan is in his manipulation. Those who don’t have the eyes of discernment will always be subjected to the manipulations of manipulators. Through the spirit of witchcraft and dark magic, manipulators swindle people into doing things against their will. If we must live successfully as believers we need to seek the eyes of discernment from God because there are so many manipulators around us. Satanic agents manipulate to steal, kill and destroy. They are shrewd wicked agents of darkness whose witchcraft souls are dedicated to the service of the devil. God is angry with manipulators; He would utterly destroy witches and wizards.
