INTRODUCTION

Satan can’t be separated from the blood and water of men. Blood and water were parts of the humanity of Jesus that resisted the will of God in Christ. The part of Moses that attracted satan to his dead body can’t be claimed by God. Satan can’t be separated from whatever belongs to him in men. Satan hides men from themselves so that they might be subjected to abuse. Those who are hidden from themselves will always serve the purpose of darkness. Evil will continue to reign on earth as long as satan is hiding men from themselves. A man who is ignorant will never meet God. Such a man will never enjoy freedom. Satan hid the humanity of Jesus from the Church so that she will not know her Saviour. It is the cloud of blood and water that doesn’t allow men to see death as evil. The spiritual and mental incapacitation of men has continued to sustain the presence of satan on earth. The fallen man can’t deny satan.

However, it was possible for Jesus to conquer satan and death because He invested heavily in developing His humanity. Jesus Christ became completely God and completely man despite the presence of blood and water. Although there is so much that can be achieved through self-discipline, certain frailties will always be part of our fickle humanity. It was the rich spiritual and mental value that the incarnate Christ produced from Jesus that overshadowed the negative influence of blood and water. God cares so much about what the light of His word makes out of us. God wants us to develop ourselves instead of investing too much effort fighting the negatives. Investing strength on the things that can’t change will not allow us to pay quality attention to the things that can change. Investing quality time on self-development programmes is far more important than deliverance and spiritual warfare.

Developing the man Jesus was the greatest achievement of the incarnate Christ. Developing ourselves is the most important thing we can achieve in life. Men win life’s battles through what they make out of themselves. Therefore, self-development is the primary essence of living.

Nevertheless, while God identifies with what the light of His eternal word achieves in men, satan identifies with the unregenerated parts of men. Satan came for the body of Moses because God couldn’t identify with the part of Moses that killed him. Blood and water were the parts of Moses that attracted the devil to his dead body. Moses couldn’t deal with blood and water because that was what gave him a place on earth. Looking closely at the book of Jude, both angel Michael and satan identified with Moses in death. We can’t be more useful than the measure of our enlightenment. So many people who have not produced the rich value that can sustain God around them want God to be part of their lives. It was the enlightenment of Moses that attracted Michael to him. The strength Michael had to rebuke satan was provided for him by the enlightenment of Moses. There is no amount of prayer that can separate satan from dark lives. It is very terrible for those shrouded in darkness to engage themselves in a fight with satan. The presence of darkness in the lives of men strengthens satan to enslave, kill and destroy them. While Moses stayed in fellowship with the Spirit of the Law and became a god, Jesus stayed in an unbreakable fellowship with the incarnate Spirit of Christ and was transformed. Although fighting is an important aspect of our successful living, we must not ascribe to satan the attention he doesn’t deserve.

Putting on a new nature through spiritual and mental rebirth is the greatest achievement in life. The redemption of the man Jesus put on Christ. The spiritual and mental rebirth that clothed Jesus with Christ was what made Him the King of kings and Lord of lords. Nothing is more valuable in the lives of men than their transformation. It is what God produces from us that He must depend on to win battles for us. The divine value in men inspires rebirth.

However, we need to be watchful for those who blood and water connect us with because accusers will always manifest from them. Those that killed a man will always be found around his grave. Accusation connects satan to the accused. The body of Moses was connected to satan through accusation. It is dangerous to reveal a man’s weakness to his enemies. Satan manifests a lot of strength through accusation. Those who unveil the nakedness of family members to satan are agents of death. God was not hesitant in punishing Aaron and Miriam because they took the place of satan in the life of Moses. You don’t need to do anything to be accused. Accusation is the evil fruit of blood and water. If Jesus Christ the perfect Son of God couldn’t avoid accusation, accusation will always connect the accused to satan. Those who play the role of satan in the lives of successful family members will never go unpunished. Accusation delays the lives of believers.

Finally, living without sin keeps satan out of the lives of men. Satan will never be separated from sinners. The enemy inside us is more powerful, determined and devoted than the ones outside.
