THE RETURN OF SPIRITS

INTRODUCTION

Most of the revelations I wrote in this book came to me about fifteen years ago. I didn’t write about them because of their depth and controversy. Because of how important it is to be discreet and choosy each time we want to delve into unpopular areas of truth particularly in Africa where new thoughts are not easily accepted, I delayed letting the revelations out. Weird and controversial season like this season can only be introduced by bold and courageous hearts. All I shared here are for organized minds particularly thinking minds. Deep things are meant only for the deep.

It is wrong to say that a particular departed spirit returned to earth. Although spirits don’t return to the earth, the influence of departed spirits on the living can’t be denied. It was prophesied that Elijah will come back but he didn’t eventually come. Although John the Baptist is not Elijah, he lived for Elijah. The past can’t be separated from the future because the past is the guardian angel of the future. Every man’s future is connected to a certain past.

The New Testament church has been delayed because they are waiting for Jesus to return. The Lamb of God will not return but the Lion of Judah will come. Those who are waiting for the return of the Lamb will definitely miss the coming of the Lion of Judah. No departed human spirit can function twice on earth. Most of the times, the manifestation that people term as return of spirits is manipulation of the spirit of the dead. Evil spirits can inhabit any available body to confuse the unguided minds.

Time and readiness of men will always control all that God will accomplish on earth. Every destiny God gives to men is a destiny that they must work out. Man is expected to be part of whatever God will accomplish for him. It is only unique spirits that can accomplish unique assignments on earth. The capital difference between Elijah and John the Baptist is the separate assignment each accomplished. John came with the spirit and power of Elijah to accomplish the assignment that was meant for Elijah. When John accomplished the assignment meant for Elijah, it became his assignment. Whatever God hides from men will definitely separate them from Him. The future that God wants to give us is a future we must produce. The value of whatever is imperfect is in the platform it creates for what is perfect. How can we be part of a season when we can’t access the relevant truths of such season? The Jews of Jesus’ time couldn’t be part of the accomplishments of God’s purpose in their time because they were separated from the relevant revelations of their time. Instead of welcoming John as the prophet who came to fulfill the prophecy that was made concerning the return of Elijah, they were blindly waiting for Elijah to literally return to the earth. Even though John accomplished the assignment of the restoration of all things, they couldn’t still identify with him.

Blindness is evil; it separates men from God and their destinies before it kills them. The same kind of blindness that made the Jews to kill Jesus is coming unavoidably upon the church. When God chooses to make somebody blind, what can men do? I think the blindness of the church is necessary because that is the only way to fulfill the prophecy that was made concerning the fullness of the time of Gentiles. If the engrafted wild olive is not cut off, the natural branch will not be engrafted back. That same Jesus that was received by the cloud will come back in like manner. As you carefully peruse through the pages of this book, its revelations will come alive to you.
