THE DESCENDANTS OF GOD

INTRODUCTION

Before God gave birth to His only Son Christ, He had related with men in diverse forms. It was the successful/progressive relationship of God with the visionary Israel that eventually brought about the birth of Christ the Son of God. God believes in following due process. In fact, He submits Himself to the irrefutable law of process. The spiritual birth of Christ led to the physical birth of the man Jesus. While Christ is the Son of God, Jesus is the Son of man. In Jesus Christ is the perfect mingling of humanity with divinity. So Jesus Christ is completely the Son of God and Son of man. As the Son of God, Christ embodied Jesus to fulfill the sovereign will of God on earth. Jesus Christ is a Prophet, King, High Priest and Servant of God who came to represent God on earth. God has His people and different kinds of people mean different things to God. It is the place we have in God that controls how we are expected to represent Him.

SOURCE IS EVERYTHING

God gives destiny to everything from its source. We all derive existence from our source. Jesus Christ was crucified at the cross because that was the will of His Father. It was possible for Him to have accomplished all manner of miracles and rose from the grave after death because He jealously stayed connected to His source. Because He was a descendant of God, He lived the life of heaven on earth. He denied the life of the earth because He was conscious of His source. What He came for was more important to Him than what people thought about Him.

GOD DEPENDS ON WHAT MEN PROVIDE FOR HIM TO BLESS THEM

If the Jews had ignored the promises made to them concerning the coming of Jesus Christ, I don’t think God would have forced Jesus to the earth. Men must take responsibility for whatever they desire God to accomplish on earth. Those who desire redemption should produce a redeemer. It is wrong to abandon for God what we are meant to do for ourselves. Those who desire to wear crown must produce the crowns God will put on their heads. If Jesus the Son of Mary could attract Christ the Son of God, there is no limit to what God can achieve through devoted, visionary, determined and focused men. It is the availability of men that is meant to determine what God will achieve on earth.
